Robert Fox
Pugilance Founder's Council Member and Undying Spirit,
Assistant Chief of Research and Development, Assistant Administrator

Robert Fox likes to think of himself as the legman of the Founding Group. His tireless devotion to work, quality production, and striving toward proper understanding of Pugilance forms show him to be far from unimportant to the team. His most valuable contribution is that he can look at a problem in a novel way that solves everything he touches neatly and efficiently.

Having little formal training, Fox is always eager to learn and is never hampered by ingrained or formulaic habits. Better still, he is willing to do whatever it takes to get the job done. These are his strengths both on and off the mat. He makes an opponent work for all the points he or she gets, and never gives up; thus he became the prototype of the Undying Spirit.

Fox met Sensei Brown just over a year ago, and has been one of his most enthusiastic students since. The two originally met on a local fencing team, and their association grew from there. Now, Fox serves as Assistant Director of Research & Development for the WPL. He can work with anyone on any problem and get the job done on time and under budget.

When asked what he thinks of the sport, he said, "The greatest thing about this is that anyone can do it, even someone as untrained as I am."; Fox's modesty is honest, but he's really that little something extra that makes everything work.
